Lincoln College Preparatory Academy has once again been named the best high school in the state of Missouri for 2016 by U.S. News & World Report. The school ranks 99th nationally and is one of the top 25 magnet schools in the U.S.

This Gold Medal designation is the result of outstanding and sustained achievements by Lincoln Prep students and staff. The school boasts a 99 percent graduation rate and earned an 82.6 on the publication’s College Readiness Index. Ninety-three percent of Lincoln Prep’s students are proficient or advanced in English, and 82 percent are proficient or advanced in math.

The 2016 U.S. News & World Report ranking is only the most recent honor for a very distinguished school. In 2015, Lincoln Prep was the only secondary school in Missouri to earn a national Blue Ribbon designation from the U.S. Department of Education.
