Central Blue Eagles Boys Basketball
Congratulations to the Central Blue Eagles Boys Basketball team for being named the Interscholastic League Team of the Week.
Not only were the Blue Eagles named the Hy-Vee Team of the Week, but they entered the week undefeated in conference play with a 9-3 overall record.
Led by first-year head coach Robin Lucas, Central Academy of Excellence defeated both Carthage and St. Pius X (Festus) in the US Bank Holiday Tournament over winter break. They followed that up with a 61-47 win at Oak Grove on January 6, 2020. (Photo by Renee Smith)
