Two KCPS Employees to Serve on Special Advisory Council

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City selected Kansas City Public School team members Carmen Truax from Northeast High school and Anne Randle from Curriculum and Professional Development to serve on its Economic Advisory Council.

The council is made up of various local educators who will provide insight in regards to economic education planning, programs, and resource development.

The council members will strive to assist the Federal Reserve in three capacities by:

“1) assessing the needs of educators throughout Missouri and Kansas relative to economic and financial education

2) strengthening partnerships and synergizing resources with economic education centers, councils, and organizations

3) identifying economic education resources and materials to benefit Missouri and Kansas educators and students. The council, led by Federal Reserve staff, consists of up to 15 rotating members with staggered term lengths.”
