Q: What is the best advice you have ever received?
A: “What doesn’t kill you will make you stronger.”

Q: Why did you become a principal/go into education?
A: My sixth grade teacher, Stella Fiddmont at Horace Mann Elementary School. I loved the way she ran her classroom. She was respectful to all students, made us responsible students at age 12, and she had a loving and positive relationship with all students. I wanted to have a classroom just like her where I can educate students and show them love at the same time. Ironically, this teacher saw me after I earned my teaching degree and helped me get placed in my first job as a kindergarten teacher.

Thank you, Ms. White for all of your hard work making Border Star Montessori an exceptional school!
