Success at Knotts Principal Linda MayMs. Linda May is a long-time leader in Kansas City Public Schools. She has been with the district 29 years. She has served as the administrator for Knotts for two years. Last school year, Ms. May was named KCPS Principal of the Year.

A: Jennifer Hudson

Q: Movie you have watched way too many times?
A: “The Five Heartbeats”

Q: Do you have a secret talent/hobby?
A: Sewing

Q: What is the best advice you have ever received?
A: “Do not give up.”

Q: Why did you become a principal/go into education?
A: One of the people I most admired was a teacher who truly cared about me and others.
