Congratulations to Carver Dual Language School teacher Amanda Niedzwiecki, who was recently named a 2016 Kauffman Foundation Fund for Teachers Fellow! She joins just 23 other educators from across the Kansas City metro region who were selected for this year’s fellowships. Fund for Teachers is a national program that enriches the personal and professional growth of pre-K-12 teachers by investing in their ideas for relevant learning that has the greatest impact on their careers, students and school communities. Ms. Niedzwiecki will attend the Creativity Workshops in Barcelona, Spain, to enhance her Spanish-language fluency and develop math and science units that integrate writing and creative expression.
