Over the course of three days, the Southeast Knights High School boys basketball team competed against teams throughout the state and country in the Normandy Basketball Tournament. The Knights took third out of 12 teams and finished with a 3-1 record.
Assistant coach Blayne Marshall was proud of his team’s play and hopes the momentum will carry through the rest of the season.
“Our team is continuing to get better every day and it’s important that we continue to practice hard and buy in to the team philosophy,” Marshall said.
The Knights are 6-6 on the season and 2-0 against the Interscholastic League (KCPS teams).
